Using Perfect Pearls Mists

Hi friends,

Today’s layout took two days because I had to let my background page dry before I could continue.

I found a plain piece of light blue cardstock.  I wanted to add a little bit of pizzazz to this layout and do something I hadn’t done in awhile so I used the Perfect Pearls Mists and spritzed it over the light blue cardstock.  I figured out where and what I wanted on the page and then let the page dry over night.  I could have waited 30 minutes to an hour and then continued or I could have used the heat gun and dried it quickly.  I decided to wait because my grandson was really wanting to help me.  🙂

I had a lot of pictures that I wanted on the page. Three I left full size and three I made small and square with my 2 1/2″ punch.

Checking out a different type of beach.

I used a premade journaling rectangle and added plastic lettering (alternating colors) that says “RUGGED”.  I put gem photostickers on each side of the lettering.  I then attached the journaling rectangle to the dried background page.  I attached the large pictures and then added a “Hunting Island” tag below the title and slightly covering the top of one picture.  Finally I added the three small photos.  I wanted to leave a little of uncovered space to show the mist that I had sprayed on the cardstock.

Really like how it turned out.

Hope everything is awesome with you and yours!

God bless!

  1. Looks like a real rugged day to me. The waves look really big. Guess the tide was starting to come in. I can’t tell who is in the picture, but it sure was a windy day. Hair and jacket flying back. Did the pearl mist look like water and a little fog? I know it must of turned out nice. Lots of work put into it but well worth it.
