30 Years and Counting

Hey,

I have another page with hand stitching.  It is an easy idea but it was a little time consuming.

Love this layout with my man!

Love this layout with my man!

I decided where I wanted the big picture that I purchased on the ship and adhered it to shiny cardstock.  I matted another picture (which I love because it looks like a postcard).  I attached a journaling card to the mat and then attached it to the layout, also.

I then cut out the #s 3 and 0 using my Cricut and scrap paper.  I put the layout on top of a piercing mat and pierced holes around the 3 and 0.  I then hand sewed the numbers.  I added alpha stickers that say, “years”.  I had small hearts cascading down the layout.  I had a cool “slide” sticker” that I put beside the big pic and then added some swirly orange stickers above and below it.  I put on a few pieces of washi tape and thought the page looked complete.  I adore it!

I hope you are having a wonderful week! I am because I had friends from Kansas arrive to keep me company.  They are scrappers so I should have a few layouts to report next week.

God bless!

  1. I like the 30 , it looks like it took a lot of work . I page looks very beachy –Make you want to jump into those pictures and enjoys the special time in the sun.

  2. There you two are, at the beach, looking like two happy clams. Love the chairs looking out to sea. Waiting for the boats to come in. You did a really good job on the sewing. Little hearts tumbling out to express the love over all the years. Sunny, happy, sun filled day.
