Hexagon Background Page

Hi friends,

After today I will put away the hexagon punches for awhile.  Today I am going to make the background page completely full of hexagons (or am I?).  I had a page that had circles all over it.  I punched out several and started lining the 12″x12″ page.  I attached two rows on both side of the decorative paper.

After this I added three photos to the layout – all lined up vertically in the middle of the page.  Once they are added it looks like the complete page is covered with hexagons without the trouble of actually doing it.

I did trim off a little bit of the bottom hexagons.  I then added a tag that said FIRST __________.  I added alpha letters BATH.  I then put a few stickers on that related to giving a baby a bath (including a cute birdie taking a bath).  The last touch was clear flower raindrop stickers that I added randomly on the page.

Cute page!

Hope God blesses the socks off of all of you!

  1. Very cute. A great way to use up all those scrap papers. Don’t you just love to smell a baby after a bath? Baby powder and lotion, the odors for a Queen. Nice way to save on paper also. A time saving idea. Splish, Splash, she was taking a bath. Fluffy little duck having a good time too. Like how you used so much pink in all the pictures, without overpowering the page. Nice.3

  2. Cute page. This seems like it is going to be a cute book. I like how you have been tying all the pages together. I agree -nothing like clean baby smell.
