Matting with Hexagons

Hi friends and family,

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!

Today I created a really cute and easy page.  I used my hexagon punch (2″) once again.  I used it for matting a picture.  I didn’t use any partial hexagons in the mat.  I just used 4 hexagons horizontally and three vertically and then filled in to create a rectangle.  I glued them onto a light pink cardstock and then glued the picture centered on top.  I used quick dry adhesive.

I used a really cute decorative cardstock for my background page.  I glued the matted photo on and then used two tags.  One of the tags had Absey’s baby info on it.  The other said, “Hello Cutie”.  I loved this picture because it captured her weight and I didn’t have to cover anything up – she took care of that herself (smart girl).

  1. So cute for a cutie. You know the song “You must have been a beautiful baby?” So true here. You are out doing yourself lately. You really have the crafting bug. I look forward to seeing the page everyday. Lots of fun.
