A Fun New Flower

Merry Christmas!  (Only a few more days I can say that this year)!

Today I am making a quick flower using a hexagon punch.  I bought this punch awhile back but never took advantage of it.  Today I am using a 1 1/2″ punch.

What I am scrapping today is three 4″x6″ pics of Absey taking a nap with her daddy.  I put two of the pics together on a white strip of cardstock.  I then put the last pic on another white strip of cardstock and left the other side of the strip open for the flower.

To make the flower I punched 7 hexagon pieces out of 4 different styles of paper.  I put one piece in the middle and then put the six other around the middle hexagon leaving a small gap all the way around.  I then put an adhesive button in the middle.

I then glued the picture strips onto a piece of decorative cardstock and then put on a journaling tag.  Finally I put a border strip down the right side of the page.

  1. Such a sweet picture. Ben is a great dad. The little flower is so cute. All the different paper for the petals. A lacy scallop for decoration and a little giraffe to make it fun for baby. A time captured forever. And you are the lucky one to have it.
