Retro Trend

Polaroid pictures are old school, right?  Well, a new trend in scrapbooking is to make your pictures look like Polaroids or faux Polaroids.  In my case I am going for the faux Polaroids.  While at Archiver’s (only been there twice but I love that store) I found a package of 15 Frames by Studio Calico.  They are cutsie faux Polaroid frames.  They are pretty small so I really had to cut my 4″x6″ photos down.  The package of 15 were $4.99, so a little pricey but so very cute.  Here is the layout I completed using three frames – have a lot left for future projects.

My cutie pie nephew, Joe.

The frames don’t have any adhesive on them so I did apply the adhesive before sticking them on my pictures.

Besides my nephew, Joe, another thing I love about these pictures are seeing my dad’s old truck.  He loved that thing.

Until tomorrow….

God bless!

  1. Cowboy Joe. Sounds normal. He’s the best thing that ever happened to me. It’s weird though. Theses pics. Have a hard time telling him in this get-up from Sam at the same age in the same type of outfit. Two peas in a pod?

  2. Joe’s an old cowhand at the Rio Grande. I mean at the Wyrick Ranch. No, Joe is already to go the the rodeo. He looks real cute. What ever happened to your dad’s truck anyway? The hay background and red neck tie and sheriff star are perfect.
