This is an exciting post for me. This is how I made the beginning layouts for my son’s senior year scrapbook. I had seen a video that was similar in some ways and had been thinking of making these layouts for several months. I was waiting to go to KS so that my friend, Terri, and I could do these awesome layouts together. Below is the video of us making one of the layouts and the pictures of the layouts. Please watch the video and take a look at the awesome pictures below.
Just a one page Project Life week. That is definitely the exception. I wish I had more of those but I guess my life is too exciting (yeah, right).
Project Life week 47.
The first small slot is a pumpkin sticker on a yellow PL card.
The second small slot has a picture of my newest pedicure – Christmas trees on my big toe. It is almost Christmas!
The large slot on the top row has chip board banners that I put “week 47” stickers on. I also put stickers that say “thanksgiving” in the little squares down below the banners. Finally I wrote that we went to Greensboro the weekend after Thanksgiving at the bottom of the card.
The first horizontal slot is the last pic of Thanksgiving.
The bottom horizontal slot has a picture of Matthew and Abby on a sleigh. It is attached to a piece of Christmas cardstock.
The last picture on the page is Tim and Camila at the mall in Greensboro. I put a heart sticker on the picture.
I have finished up week 46 in Project Life today. It is not a great picture. I used a lot of bulky stickers and fun things that made the light reflect off the plastic when I took the picture.
Part two of PL week 46.
The first large slot and the first two small slots have a picture of Abby and I at her school for grandparent’s day. Above her face I put a flower spinner that says “I love this” and you point it to what you love. I pointed it to “girl”. I put an “A+” sticker above a grandma sticker. I had to give myself kudos. 🙂 I also put a pencil sticker below where I documented about the day.
The rest of the pics on the page were about Thanksgiving. Besides our immediate family we had our cousins from Charleston come. It was an excellent day. I love the bulky “family” sticker that I put above the first pic of Thanksgiving. I also put a PL card that says “Thankful”.
Sorry for the shiny picture. I hope you get the drift of what was happening. Hope to see you tomorrow!
I am scrapping week 46 today. It is mostly of my hubby’s birthday.
Project Life week 46.
The first three large pics are of my hubby’s birthday. We found these fun lotus candles (Saw them on Facebook and ordered them off Amazon. Now they are at Walmart.) that we have been using on our birthday cakes.
The first small slot has a PL card that I put “week 46” on. I also Brad’s name and age where the card has a space for it on the bottom. Thought it was appropriate since it is the page where we are celebrating his birthday.
The next two small slots have pics that I found on my phone of Absey taking selfies. Silly girl! In the space on the last large slot I wrote about her taking the selfies. I also put a sticker that says “crazy”. I started it on one of her selfie pics and continued it onto the last large picture slot.
The last picture that I put on the layout is of a fortune cookie that I received. I think it was more of a wisdom cookie. It says, “What is right is often forgotten by what is convenient.”. I had to use part of two slots because it is in landscape mode. I actually have the real fortune. I adhered it to the bottom of the picture.
That is all for today. Hope to have more on here tomorrow.
Back again with more Project Life. I am finishing up week 45 which means 7 more weeks for 2016. Nothing to brag about. 😉
Part 2 of week 45 in PL.
The first picture is of Abby and I taking a selfie at her school’s Fun Run. She is always happy when I show up and I am always happy to see her happy. The first two small pics are of Abby walking and then running. The right large pic and the third small one is of Matthew cheering her on.
The bottom right pic is on a cute piece of paper. It goes on into the bottom small slot, too. The picture is of Halloween costumes that I found for an awesome price. I had to get some for nieces and nephews as well as grandkids. I wrote costume bargains on the cute paper. In the small slot I put the piece of the picture on a PL card and I put acorn stickers on the card, too. The last picture is of Matthew trying on a Scooby Doo costume once we got home. I think I found out why it was so cheap. Besides being after Halloween, a foot was sewn on backwards. 🙁
I was gone a LONG time on vacation (to see family and friends) and then a friend returned with me and I showed her my area of the country. It was a great time but I am excited to be back.
While I was gone my friends and I made some flowers out of paper for my friend’s daughter’s wedding. They are going to make the bouquets and centerpieces out of these flowers. I am going to show you a couple of pictures of the finished flowers (not bouquets or centerpieces – I will post them after the wedding). I am also posting a YouTube video link so you can see how they were made.
A few petals put together into complete flowers.
Several flowers completed ready to be made into centerpieces.
