Two days in a row posting! That is amazing right now! It is another PL post but a post none the less!
Project Life Week 6.
The top two pics are of Abs before school. She got to wear what she wanted – Frozen (including Frozen shoes). The bottom pics are of Matthew helping me cook. He was wearing his Spider Man apron that we got him for Christmas. My face was barely in the corner of the small selfie.
The top small card is a PL cardstock card with school stickers and I wrote on it about Absey’s outfit.
The middle small card is a PL card.
The bottom small card is a PL journaling card. I added a small sticker that is a clam and says, “Happy as a Clam”. I wrote about Matthew helping me in the kitchen. He loves to help and is a very pleasant guy! Love him!
My Week 6 card is a PL journaling card that I added the Week 6 stickers to. I also added a brad that points down to the stickers.
That is all for now.
Hi family, friends, and scrappers,
Hope all is well in your corner of the world. 🙂 I am here with another PL update. Seems all I can accomplish right now.
Week 5 of 2015.
For my week 5 card I added stickers to a gray PL cardstock card. I then inserted a clear plastic card with gold dots over the top on top of the card. The top small pic is a shot of our tv screen during the Super Bowl. The top right large pic is of Absey with her 100th day of school crown on.
The bottom left pic is of Diego in our laundry basket. His new thing is to cuddle up in our clothes. The bottom right picture is of a new favorite snack of some of our household members. The other small cards are ones I wrote on to describe what was happening in the pics and then a PL card with polka dots with a piece of cardstock that I cut out that says hi.
Pretty simple week but a lot of fun.
I don’t know if I will ever get caught up on PL this year. I will keep trudging along until the year is over (and it is only February). 🙂 I did get one week done – week 4.
PL week 4.
Not a lot happened this week. The top pic is a picture I found of my mother -in -law as a child. I don’t think I had ever saw one before. Love the picture and had to keep it.
The right top pic is of a package I received (exploded) in the mail. The blow up that we had in our front yard for several years (Christmas) finally bit the dust. I had decided a long time ago that when it didn’t work I wanted to get a nativity one. I found a Charlie Brown nativity blow up on Ebay. It was a reasonable price (cheaper than the one that I bought several years ago). When it arrived all torn apart I had my doubts but we set it up and it worked perfectly.
Finally, Tim got a much needed haircut.
I made the bottom right card out of a piece of cardstock, a gold PL card, and border stickers.
Kind of a slow week but it was our week.
Hope all is well with you and yours!
It sure is nice to have a friend who scraps and doesn’t mind sharing her ideas. Here is her latest layout.
Look at all the firewood – they are going to be warm this winter.
First Terri matted all of her photos on small mats. Then she figured out where she wanted to put the pics on the page and adhered them. (Notice the perfect background paper). Finally she added a journaling card layering it on top of a piece of cardstock. Terri added alpha stickers to spell the word “warmth”. What a great page! So happy they got all this wood – today in Kansas is mighty cold!
Thanks again, Terri!
Another week of PL is documented.
PL week 2.
The first pic is of me showing off my new bracelet. My sis-in-law went on a missions trip and brought me home an awesome bracelet. I absolutely love it! The two small pics below that is a rare moment of siblings really enjoying each other’s company. Finally, the top right slot has a PL pink card. On it is part of a brochure that I kept from The Ole Pink House in Savannah. I also attached a picture of one of the light fixtures on one side. The bottom two slots have pics from there. My hubby took a rare day of vacation and he and I had lunch there. We also toured the house and learned a little of the history. The small middle slot is a week 2 card that I created. I also described the pics of the bracelets and the kids. The last little slot tells about Brad and my day together.
That is all. Before I sometimes had difficulty filling all the slots. Now, with only one page for each week, I have a hard time deciding what pictures to use. A good problem. 🙂
Another layout of traditional scrapbooking accomplished. That feels like a big deal these days. This is a fun and easy idea. Like that, too.
My cutie patootie, Lily.
The only thing that was slightly difficult about this page was the “L”. The rest of the page consisted of attaching the picture, adding a border sticker, and cutting out (ok – slightly time consuming) the “Sugar and Spice and everything nice” and the bow and attaching them.
Using a needle I pushed holes into the cardstock (paper was laying on a piercing mat to protect the table top and to make it easier. I put brads into the holes and wrapped twine around the outside of the L. I then tied a nice little bow. To try and ensure that the bow didn’t get untied I added a dab of quick dry adhesive to the top of the bow and to the paper underneath it.
Isn’t this the cutest?
Hope your day is awesome!
