Another of Terri’s layouts is here!
Showing off our state – KS.
Terri’s daughter’s boyfriend visited KS. Terri and her hubby took him sightseeing. they went to a field where buffalo were roaming. She took a pic of the buffalo and then her daughter and her boyfriend in front of the buffalo. She matted those pics and then adhered them to the background paper. She added two die cut buffaloes to the paper and a little piece of thin rope. Finally she mounted the journaling tags (one with the journaling and one of the KS state song. She attached them to the background paper. She also added a lot of texture with a small piece of burlap and a brown button.
Great job, Terri. I really like this page.
I know I said that I was going to post all of Terri’s layouts in a row but I interrupt with a Project Life post. Trying to keep them up to date.
Left side of PL week 46.
The top left picture is of Ben getting ready to go for a job interview – job starts in a few weeks (Praise God!). I also put my voting sticker on a PL card. It is a few days after the week ended but it got left out last week and I think it is mighty important to vote. 😉 Then, below the voting card is a picture of my car at 50,000 miles. I drive SO much! The bottom left pic is of a bush (we got two) that we had planted last spring. They are blooming like crazy for the first time. The bottom right pic is of Brad and I after lunch at the Air Force Museum.
Right side of PL week 46.
The top left pic is of Absey and Matthew. They were caught dancing in the kitchen. The top right pic is of Amber getting ready to go to her new job at Target. The little cards give all the details of the pics on this page. The large bottom left card is the Week 46 card and it describes all the pics on the previous page. Finally, the bottom right pic is of Tim at the doctors office. Nothing serious but not feeling well.
Complete layout of PL week 46.
Week 46 finished. Almost time for Week 47.
Today, and over the next few days, I am going to post layouts that my bud, Terri, created.
Terri matted all of her photos and a journaling card. Before adhering them to the beautiful decorative paper she put a contrasting square purple paper, at an angle, on the page. This really makes all of the pictures standout. After everything was adhered she put on two flowers, attaching them with brads. The background paper and the flowers in the pictures looks so beautiful together. Great job, Ter!
Now to take some pictures with snow – it is that time of the year.
Hi fellow scrappers!
Another layout starring my sweet granddaughter, Lily.
This little baby is a very alert girl! And she is so very cute!
Isn’t she adorable?
This is another layout that I completed in KS. Very simple because I used a premade sheet of decorative paper. I matted pics and added them to the page. I used clear stickers to add to each mats. Finally I added the heart stickers and very quickly a layout is completed.
I just love using these papers that give you a quick jump start on your layout!
Today’s layout is another that I did in KS. While in KS I tend to do easy layouts because it is hard to tote too many scrapping things across the country. Especially when flying – which is what I did this time.
What a cutie!
I used another premade page that was included in the album I bought for sweet Lily. I matted the picture and attached it to the bottom right side of the page. It left just enough room for a strip of buttons and flowers going down the side.
These premade pages are awesome for times like traveling.
Hope your day is wonderful!
This layout was done on a premade sheet that was included in the album that I bought for Lily’s pics. Of course I had to embellish it a bit.
Sweet baby girl with her loving daddy.
I matted the picture on two different papers and then attached them to the page. The only other thing I did was to add the vellum journaling tag to the page. I had it go onto the picture onto the empty space. I used vellum tape to make the adhesive invisible. I didn’t know this tape was available until a few months ago – life changing (not really but I have enjoyed it).
See how simple a layout can be? Love it!
This will be the last post using zippers – at least for awhile. This layout is from my scrapbooking bestie, Terri. We were in KS and recorded a You Tube video on zippers but it didn’t work out. I got home expecting to post the video when I discovered that it wasn’t there. Bummer.
Terri’s version of Zippin Along.
Terri used a two page layout. Her zipper was too long for the first page so she cut it off and put the short section on the second page. She machine stitched the zipper on the first page of the layout. On her title she used a pen and made it look like a zipper on the letters. Of course she matted all the photos.
The second page of the two page layout.
On the second page she glued the small zipper down. On the bottom of the page she tore a piece of paper and then with her pen made it look like part of a zipper on the bottom. Then she journaled on the top of the torn piece of paper.
A really fun layout.
Thanks, Terri, and God bless everyone!
This was a fun layout but at the same time I had to leave out a lot of pictures. It was the week that I took a very quick but very busy trip back to KS.
Left side of PL week 45.
The top left pic is of my sweet niece in the school parade as Laura Ingalls (Little House on the Prairie). Then the top two small pics are of my plane getting maintenance in Atlanta and me holding my nieces sweet pup, Rosie. I sent the pic to my son, Tim, to make him jealous. I succeeded. He wanted me to kidnap her when I flew back. I would have broke three little girls’ hearts. The top right pic is of me with my nephew, Levi, after his football game. He did most excellent. The score was 42-0.
The bottom pic is of two of my nieces dressed in their Halloween costumes. One was Anna (Frozen) and one was a butterfly. The bottom small cards tell a quick story of the time in KS. The bottom right card is of the game schedule for my nephew this year.
The right side of PL week 45.
The top two small pics is one pic cut in the middle of scrapbook night at my bud Linda’s house. A fun time! Not as big of turnout as last time because it was on Halloween. The picture right underneath is of my family after my nephew’s football game. The pic right below that is me and three wonderful friends after lunch at Red Lobster.
The two pics on the right side of the page are my two KS grandkids in their Halloween costumes. A marine and Wonder Woman. Awesome!
Well, Project Life week 45 complete!
My, oh, my, what a beautiful day!
I have another post on ZIPPERS! This is a picture of my granddaughter who loves Disney movies. Thought it was very appropriate. I found a white girlie zipper and went to town.
My sweet Lily!
This layout I wanted to be very simple. The last time I attached a zipper to the background I hand sewed it on. It wasn’t easy. This time I used the continuous line adhesive. I put a line on each side of the zipper and then laid it down.
I used a already made page that was included in the scrapbook I bought for Lily’s pics. I added the title, the crown sticker, the fairy tale paper under Lily’s picture, and the brad with the flower and pink polka dot tag.
Hope your day is going perfect, too!
The last few weeks have been a fun and crazy whirlwind. Finally getting around to one of the weeks in Project Life. I really do love how this method of scrapping reminds me of the big and little things in our life. I don’t think I will be able to give it up.
Left side of PL week 44.
The top right pic is of two of my geeky guys checking out and comparing phones. (Ben got a new one). The small pics are of another of the sticker pumpkins, a car I was behind at a stoplight that had a mini car in its back area (It looked funny), and Matthew in his spiderman costume getting ready to go to the children’s museum. The bottom left pic is of Absey getting ready to go to the children’s museum. She was wearing the Elsa costume. The bottom right pic is of Absey and Tim being silly at the museum.
Right side of PL week 44.
The top pics are of the kiddos at the children’s museum. The bottom left pic is of Amber trying oysters for the first time at the after church picnic. I have never had them (and don’t ever plan on it) and thought it would be fun to snap the shot. The bottom right pic is of Ben edging for the first time. Two of the small slots have thin wood journaling tags that I adhered to PL cards.
Complete layout of PL week 44.
Well that is it for week 44. Not many more weeks in this year. (8!!!)
